In the 2021 Legislative Session, Lawmakers passed House Bill 206 (Epinephrine Auto-Injector Access Amendments).

This legislation directed the creation of a program allowing Utahns’ to purchase epinephrine at discounted rates. This program is primarily designed to help individuals who do not have health insurance or are covered with large deductibles requiring them to cover a significant portion of their epinephrine costs.

To be eligible to participate, you must:

  • Be a resident of the State of Utah
  • Be an individual who has a prescription or a standing prescription drug order for an epinephrine auto injector
  • Not be an employee or dependent of an employee of the State of Utah with epinephrine related benefits covered through PEHP Health & Benefits
